David Marks

One of the region’s most accomplished creative directors & writers, David has won trophies from the Clios, One Show, London International Advertising Awards and the Radio Mercurys. Before co-founding The Collaboration, David spent 20+ years as Senior Copywriter & Creative Director at agencies in St. Louis and Kansas City, on accounts that included Anheuser-Busch, Ralston Purina, SBC, Edward Jones, Sprint, Missouri Division of Tourism, Brown Shoe Group, Commerce Bancshares, Cadbury Schweppes and many others.

 

David’s diverse community involvement includes serving as board president for Newhouse, Kansas City’s oldest and largest shelter for abused women and their children, Kansas City Ad Club, Board President, and is currently the incoming Board President for The Alzheimer’s Association – Heart of America chapter.

 

 

Jon Simonsen

Jon Simonsen, co-founder of The Collaboration, has nearly 20 years of experience developing corporate identity, advertising and websites for a wide range of clients. He has previously worked at agencies in New York, Chicago, Kansas City and Phoenix. Some of his blue-chip national client experiences have included McDonald’s, Ford, Pfizer, Zenith, Avnet, NCR, Hoechst, Hallmark and Lee Jeans.

 

 

MARK BOTSFORD

Mark Botsford, co-founder of The Collaboration, spent the first three years of his 15 year career in Milwaukee, WI, working for clients such as Golden Books, Union 76 Gasoline and Kohl’s Department Store.

Since then, Mark has served as an award-winning Senior Art Director on a diverse account list including Missouri Tourism, Sprint, Farmland, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Major League Baseball Players Association, Payless Shoesource, John Deere, Caterpillar, Hallmark, M&I Bank, NCAA, Big 12 Conference, The American Royal and Virgin Interactive.
